Amani Care began with families much like yours — people facing the worry of arranging care for someone they love, and finding too little warmth in the options around them.
So we built something different. A service rooted in our community across Barking, Dagenham and Redbridge, where carers are matched thoughtfully, visits stay consistent, and the people we support are known by name, not by number.
Today we support hundreds of families — but the promise hasn't changed. Care that protects dignity, nurtures independence, and gives families room to breathe.
To deliver compassionate, person-centred home care that lets people live safely and independently in the place they love most — supported by carers who treat them like family.
A community where growing older, or living with extra needs, never means losing your home, your routine or your sense of self — and where families feel genuinely supported every step of the way.
We lead with kindness, patience and a genuine interest in the people we care for.
Every person is treated with the respect, privacy and choice they deserve.
We support people to keep doing what they can, for as long as they can.
Consistent carers and dependable visits families can plan their lives around.
Honest, transparent care — and the courage to always do the right thing.
We keep families informed and involved, because care is a shared journey.
Everything we do is guided by our core values, encapsulated in the name AMANI. These values align directly with the CQC Fundamental Standards — Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-Led. We expect every member of our team to embody them every day.
We take absolute responsibility for delivering safe, high-quality and transparent care. We never cut corners on safety, we speak up when things go wrong, and we operate a "Just Culture" of continuous learning.
We are attentive, compassionate and present in every interaction. We listen actively and treat every service user with absolute dignity, empathy and respect.
We are highly responsive and flexible. We adapt swiftly to the changing health needs, personal preferences and feedback of the people we care for.
We do more than complete tasks — we nurture the physical, emotional and social well-being of our service users, helping them achieve their personal goals and maintain their independence.
We celebrate diversity and deliver truly person-centred care. We ensure our services and our workplace are accessible, equitable and welcoming to all communities.
